360 Total Security does not only protects you, it even keeps your PC junk-free. By combining the power of the 360 Cloud Engine,360 QVMII, Avira and Bitdefender. Qihoo 360 Total Security is a completely free software, so its expected that the support resources are not as far-reaching as those from a paid title. Qihoo 360 Internet Security protects from all kinds of threats online. IMHO I think the same will eventually be true about 360 TS and Comodo FW, but for now Qihoo 360 Internet Security and Comodo FW will remain on one of my machines. 360 Total Security Essential utilizes a five antivirus engines to keep your system away from the latest threats. This is not a conventional antivirus rather, it is a hybrid of a maintenance-optimization utility and a competent antivirus. The 360 Total Security Free Antivirus is a highly popular security product from Qihoo 360 and comes in three variants, two of which are offered for free. It gets good ratings from the independent testing labs, though it lost recent certifications.

As cruelsister has stated many times, and I couldn't agree more, if you run 360 Internet Security (configured properly) along with Comodo FW (Fully Virtualized) you have a great security pairing. Total Security was presented to the market by Qihoo 360, a Chinese company, in 2014. Qihoo 360 Total Security Essential is an improvement over its predecessor, 360 Internet Security. Overall I am, if not overly impressed, then looking forward to what Qihoo does with 360 TS as they iron out all the wrinkles. There's not much to go on from the independent labs, but its scores in. The problem is that Qihoo's core antivirus protection doesn't quite measure up. Those features would be a lovely addition to an excellent free antivirus. This is a very average PC in terms of performance. Qihoo 360 Total Security 8.6 packs in more security-related bonus features than any other free antivirus I can think of.
#Qihoo 360 total security windows 7
This is not a system resources hog by any means and Windows 7 boot times are very fast. The pleasant surprise, at least on one of my two test PCs, is that Security mode with both engines installed, runs incredibly light. Security mode also adds the "Scan File When Opened" setting. The Performance and Balanced modes are not nearly as effective and that's an understatement. I installed Qihoo 360 Total Security using the Security mode setting with both Bitdefender and Avira engines installed and activated, and it seems to do a good job, if not nearly as impressive as 360 Internet Security, still quite capable for a beta and it will improve.
